Sheetz now sells a plant-based meatless burger - lehighvalleylive.com

Sheetz convenience store announced today it is now selling a plant-based Beyond Burger at all of its 597 stores.

According to Sheetz, it is “the first continental U.S. convenience store” to introduce a plant-based burger.

The Beyond Burger, made by Beyond Meat, can be customized, according to Sheetz, with seven bread choices, seven cheese choices, 20 toppings and 13 spreads.

The cost of the burger starts at $6.99 and will vary depending on which toppings are selected.

Sheetz was founded in Altoona, Pa., and has stores in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and North Carolina. Stores are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
