If you’re headed to the airport anytime between now and the end of the year there’s a good chance you’re going to run into a delay, at least during one leg of your journey. The busiest travel time of the year also just happens to coincide with some of the coldest times of the year which means everything from weather to misplaced luggage can slow your trip down. If you do end up delayed, Burger King is offering a deal to help ease the pain a bit: free (plant-based) burgers.
From now until December 30th, delayed travelers can enter their delayed flight information into the Burger King app and get a coupon for a free Impossible Whopper.
The coupon is good for any “participating” Burger King in the country, which means if you happen to have one in your airport you can use it on the spot to get a snack while you wait.
Sadly, the deal only applies to flights that are taking place in the United States. You’ll also have to use that coupon pretty soon. It expires January 6th.
Sure, an Impossible Burger isn’t exactly an even trade for that six-hour delay, but it might help ease the pain a bit.
